Customer information

Privacy Notice

This notice explains the practical way Sticker Sprout handles customer, order, quote, and label details.

Information we collect

When you place an order request or send an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, order details, label wording, child or recipient names, school details where relevant, notes, uploaded designs or reference images, material preferences, and delivery or collection preferences.

We do not ask for identity numbers, dates of birth, account passwords, or card details on this website.

How we use it

We use the information to process requests, match payment references, arrange collection or delivery, communicate about orders, provide support, and keep records needed for business and accounting purposes.

Children's names

Some labels include a child's name or school detail. Please only provide the wording needed for the label. We do not use child-related label text for public marketing or public examples without separate permission.

Website storage

The label builder may temporarily save draft details and cart contents in your browser for up to 14 days so you can continue an order. After an order request is created, the website keeps only a small local reference for up to 30 days, such as the order number and status.

If you use a shared device, clear your browser data after ordering if you do not want draft details to remain on that device.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand general website traffic, such as visits, popular pages, referral sources, countries, devices, and page performance. Cloudflare states that this privacy-focused service does not collect or use visitors' personal data, and Sticker Sprout does not use it to identify individual visitors.

We also record limited first-party ordering-funnel events, such as starting a design, adding to cart, opening checkout, encountering a validation blocker, and completing or leaving a payment step. These events use a random browser-session identifier that is hashed before storage. They do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, order references, notes, child names, label text, cart contents, IP addresses, or payment credentials, and are used only to understand and improve the ordering journey.

Sharing and service providers

We may use service providers such as web hosting, email, order-management tools, payment reconciliation tools, and delivery partners where needed to run the business. We do not sell customer information.

The custom request page displays posts from our Facebook page. When those posts load, your browser connects to Meta, which may receive your IP address and browser information and use cookies under its own privacy settings. You can also view the posts directly on Facebook.

Orders may be paid by EFT bank transfer or, when shown at checkout, through Payfast. If Payfast is selected, Sticker Sprout sends the customer's name, email address, phone number, payment amount, order/payment references, and a short order description to Payfast so that it can process and confirm the transaction. Payfast collects and processes the selected card, bank, wallet, or other payment-method details on its own secure service; Sticker Sprout does not receive or store full card or bank-login details.

Payfast processes personal and transaction information under its own legal and security obligations. Customers can review the Payfast Privacy Policy before choosing secure online payment. EFT remains available as an alternative.

Retention and requests

We keep order records only for as long as needed for fulfilment, customer support, accounting, legal, and reasonable business record purposes. You can ask us to correct or delete information where applicable.
